Yes, grouting is highly recommended as it strengthens the paving and reduces the ability of moisture getting into the stone while also stopping weeds growing throughout.
-
We always recommend sealing your pavers – please see our sealing section for more info. We do not recommend using a concrete sealer and advise you to do your research if you are using one that differs from what we recommended. The sealer should be an impregnating/penetrating sealer that soaks into the stone so as not to change the surface texture.

Most pool chlorination systems have some sort of salt aspect to them. It is perfectly safe to use natural stone with salt water, however, sealing is recommended – click here for more info.

A light waterblast is usually all that is required. Please do not acid wash. Acid washing can cause irreparable damage to your natural stone.
To remove general grime and stains caused by oil/grease, mould, leaf marks, food, and beverages – use DryTreat Alkaline Cleaner (formerly Oxy Clenza).
For efflorescence, rust stains, lime scale, grout haze, mortar mess – use Hanafinn Eff-Erayza. Contact us for more information.

Add up the external lineal metres of the pool. Divide this by the length of the coper eg. 0.6 (600mm length coping). Add on 1 piece for each corner including a step-out (if any). Then add on another 1-2 pieces for wastage allowance.
